You're observing differences in CPU usage between Chrome and Internet Explorer when playing the same high-quality video. This is likely due to how each browser handles rendering and hardware acceleration. Chrome may leverage modern GPU features more effectively, while IE might not utilize them as efficiently. There are no universal fixes, but you can optimize settings or extensions to reduce strain—like disabling unnecessary plugins or adjusting display options.

Likely a minor issue with the Chrome version; usually the GPU handles decoding automatically.

I prefer Chrome for accounting because of its strong capabilities and quick performance. Internet Explorer isn't terrible, though it often needs many plugin updates and can be slower at times. It also consumes significantly fewer system resources compared to Chrome or Firefox.

You might consider lighter configurations for Chrome, though it's not ideal. The browser allocates resources to ensure speed and compatibility across most platforms.
