I appreciate the design, it feels very modern.

I think Chrome works better for me than this browser. The BS player version feels really sluggish and poorly built, while some people seem to enjoy it more.

Could be the reason for the delay.

Likely because I became accustomed to Chrome and Firefox since they look quite alike.

I’d say Internet Explorer is gaining traction as a functional web browser, now ready for updates to its design.

Chrome consumes a lot of memory, which is why I switched to another browser back then. Also, with many tabs open—some playing music, others streaming—I experienced issues where tabs I wasn’t using would freeze or lag in Chrome, while those in Firefox didn’t have the same problems.

It seems the main issue isn't hardware itself, but rather adjusting options and ensuring plugins are accessible.

I understand, but at this point in time hardware was the main issue for me. However, regarding extensions or plugins, nothing comes close to Chrome and Firefox yet (sorry). It’s not bad at all. On tablets it runs very smoothly and on WP8 as well—I actually installed third-party browsers on my WP8 and noticed they were much slower than IE.

I don't prefer Internet Explorer. It tends to have more consistent speeds compared to Chrome, which can be fast sometimes but often very slow at other times. For me, Internet Explorer isn't worth using unless you really need a different browser.
