Based on chrome's performance indicators, it seems RAM and CPU usage are low. I need a faster browser that won't waste all the resources.

Securing yourself to a sturdy rocket motor could work, though it wouldn't be very pleasant.

Firefox uses less CPU and RAM, though GPU boosts for videos lag behind Chrome. IE 11 performs reasonably well.

Internet Explorer has definitely improved recently, and since Chrome isn't working well for you, it might be worth exploring alternatives. Opera can be quite functional if you manage to get used to it, and you might also want to check out lighter browsers. I came across this useful list: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/7-web-brows...e-firefox/. Chromium and Maxthon are solid options, while Midori could be worth considering: http://midori-browser.org/. There are many excellent browsers available, so you're sure to find one that fits your requirements. Good luck!

You might be surprised by how much more powerful opera can be compared to Mozilla and Chrome.

Midori seems quite intriguing, so I'm going to give it a shot.

When you run IE quicker than Chrome, IE might be the better choice since it handled my Japanese pages better. It seems like Chrome wasn't working well for those sites, while IE performed better. I might have optimized it for speed because it was the only browser that loaded them properly.
