Chrome experiences significant slowdowns upon launching or closing windows.
I'm facing an unusual issue on both my new and old PCs. No updates have been applied, yet Chrome freezes unexpectedly when opening new tabs, then loads quickly afterward. If two tabs are open, adding more causes lag, and closing a specific tab results in a brief freeze (1-2 seconds). I'm looking for anyone who's encountered this problem to help. Thanks.
I've noticed some issues on my PC using Waterfox. Maybe someone can explain why I'm thinking about a complete reinstall or delaying until I get a 1TB SSD.
I've seen a few people having this issue with the latest version of chrome, some are reporting that moving all bookmarks off of the bookmarks bar into 'other bookmarks' or 'mobile bookmarks' fixes it.
