While exploring the console in Fallout 4, I found myself clicking on the workbench. Now, whenever I approach that area, a green selection icon appears, and I can't seem to remove it. I might revert to an earlier save, but I definitely wouldn’t want to. That’s exactly what you’re describing.

Use `del /path/to/item` in the terminal to remove it. Fallout 4 is a thing, but I don’t play it much.
