I'm working on an upgrade I've been planning for a while. I was looking for a reason when my kids found the easiest way to open the window beside my old gaming PC by stepping on its case—it offered a closer path than stepping around it. With both hands occupied by my phone and a drink, the safest move was to jump onto the cables leading into the PC. After dismantling nearly everything except the power cable, I felt a rush of excitement. I bought an ASUS ROG X670E motherboard and chose the larger-than-expected ROG Hyperion GR701. While assembling, I noticed the case has two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 ports on the front, but only one header is available on the X670E. It’s frustrating when a port isn’t properly connected. What should I do if this happens? Are there any hubs or methods to split the header into separate connections? Thanks in advance for your help!

That board only has one header and supposedly most boards only have one header on them. You chose a case that has 2, and it would have been better to have picked a board to go with it that had 2 headers available if you wanted to use both. There are some hubs or splitters you can get if you want so you are not screwed or anything. https://www.moddiy.com/products/USB-3.2-...oller.html Apparently there's also the option of a PCI card that has a port. This sounds like a nice option if you have the slot leftover for it.
