Choosing between vr and triples for sim racing
Choosing between vr and triples for sim racing
The options are likely to experience performance problems. I recommend keeping the triple screen configuration. VR can cause discomfort for some people even at 60fps, which is why we see higher refresh rates in 90Hz headsets. This would make things worse if the game isn't designed for VR. If you don’t intend to upgrade your PC, go with the triple monitor setup. However, if you can afford a VR headset, it’s better to invest in a new GPU instead!
You won't be able to play smoothly even at high performance levels. Your computer lacks the power for a comfortable VR session. Aiming for 40 frames per second can strain your mind and cause discomfort. You should upgrade your hardware before making display changes. Reducing settings is another option. Dirt Rally 2 isn't great for VR; Assetto Corsa performs better. For Dirt Rally 2, consider triple monitors with lower resolutions or a stronger GPU. Since you can't have both VR and multiple monitors, invest in a better GPU (though availability may be limited) and opt for 1080p displays instead.
