They likely moved production to the newer 9800x3D model, which could explain the higher cost and stock issues.
Intel's misstep sparked a change in product interest, along with greater awareness of the 7800X3D. People are increasingly upgrading to it. It usually takes time for a chip to become dominant before new systems get built. I don’t have insight into manufacturing details, but I can grasp why demand rose.
I do have some performance issues in wow when I am in a large raid (like 30 people) and my game feels very sluggish and my latency is through the roof making the game less responsive at times. This is the reason why I had to do away with addons like elvui becuase it was just tanking my fps and games responsiveness. I am leaning more towards waiting for 9800x3d to come back in stock but I am not sure when that would be and 7800x3d is available right now and im not sure how long this combo deal would last either which puts me in a precarious situation.
I'd wait then, as you can tweak things to make them playable and the 9800X3D will be back in stock soon. I mean, I can only imagine they're pumping them out as fast as they can and AMD is freaking out to get more made. Each one is profit. I don't see enough need to justify not waiting, especially since WoW can run on much worse. Your mod changes can hold you til then.
That option remains in stock, though I prefer the motherboard from the other offer since it includes built-in Bluetooth.
