Intel stands out mainly for its AVX 512 support within this budget range. When you also consider the motherboard expenses, the price difference between AMD and Intel becomes even more pronounced.

The difference in architecture that causes an 18-core CPU to perform worse than a 16-core CPU lies in how efficiently each core manages tasks and communicates with others.

Increase base voltage and speed, use more cache memory, switch from 14nm to 7nm process, reduce power consumption per transistor

It's a set of instructions. If you're unfamiliar with it, it's likely your software doesn't support it.

According to those charts, unless you rely on rendering income, the 3900x offers a more favorable price.

The selection process is challenging since most 3D Mark Hall of Fame achievements use Intel processors, not AMD, which aligns with my focus on overclocking and benchmarking.

Intel processors boost performance significantly more than AMD ones, making the Core i9 a popular choice for enthusiasts who like overclocking. Finding any 10th generation CPUs is tough since they were only announced and very limited in numbers.
