Hi, I mainly use my computer for work that demands heavy data processing on both CPU and GPU. That’s why I’m considering the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X with an x570 motherboard. I want to support NVMe drives using PCIe 4.0. I won’t be overclocking any part—like memory, CPU, or GPU—and I’m looking for standard features such as three 3.2 USB ports and a front panel. I’d also like at least two but preferably three NVMe slots. Thanks ahead for your advice!

x570 offers better options compared to b550, especially with support for multiple PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives while b550 is limited to just one. However, you’ll need additional cards for USB 3.2, which can increase the cost significantly. For Thunderbolt support, another card is required, and not all x570 boards will have it. You may end up spending more than double or even triple your budget to achieve these features. It depends on your priorities—worth it if you need those capabilities.
