Thanks for the updates. I'm having trouble getting my phone to respond, so I'm leaning toward a Z170 board since it offers a future upgrade path with 1151 and DDR4. I'm planning to wait until new processors are released before making any changes beyond what I have now. Also, I mainly play racing sims and retro games, not the latest high-end FPS titles that focus heavily on graphics.

Also consider these additional points:
-I’m not necessarily focused on SLI or Crossfire features. If a board fits other requirements with or without those capabilities, I’d prefer it.
-I’d prefer an M2 slot and Type C USB for future connectivity needs.
-I need four RAM slots.
-I want good audio options, similar to the ALC1150 experience.
-I’m interested in overclocked RAM without special types; currently I have 16GB of 3200 MHz RAM.
-I think having more power phases would help with overclocking, though I’d like some clarification on whether that matters much.
-SATA Express seems fine since the technology isn’t being used.
