Hello everyone! I’m looking to purchase a laptop for gaming and editing purposes, not for professional use. The budget is 1500 euros (I’m from Italy). The two models that caught my attention are:
1. Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 GU603VI, i7-13620H, 16 GB RAM, RTX 4070 – 1520 euros
2. Lenovo Legion 5 Pro Gaming 16" Intel i7 16GB 512GB RTX4060 – 1499 euros
What do you recommend? Thank you very much, greetings from Italy

For gaming purposes, the Asus one stands out due to its 4070 chipset. However, I wouldn't suggest purchasing an Intel 13th gen laptop at this time.

I know a friend who uses an AMD-powered Lenovo Legion and claims it's the top laptop they've owned over the past five years due to its quality and performance. However, the Asus model offers a superior graphics card, which would stand out especially for gaming.

I've also heard about Asus having a history of poorly manufactured cooling systems that lost their effectiveness within a year. Have you come across any information about this?

I've noticed certain models often struggle with poor thermals because of their airflow design, and their support team isn't very helpful.
