I managed to get an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU and installed it on a Gigabyte X570 UD motherboard. I’m curious if upgrading the board is worthwhile since I think it might not match the CPU’s capabilities. It’s unclear if performance is actually dropping, but the thermal performance seems poor—my system reaches around 80°C during typical tasks, which isn’t ideal for sustained high loads.
Following that, I would upgrade your motherboard and possibly install features such as 2.0 MB/s ports and a 2.5 GbE network interface.
You might consider lowering the voltage. The motherboard isn't exceptional, yet if your clock speeds aren't dropping, you're still maintaining performance.
Only if it supports Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet will it function properly
