I experienced issues after upgrading, then reinstalled fresh, but continued to face problems. I’ll remain on Windows 7 and Vulkan API.

It seems a bit selective, isn’t it? I’m excited to see how these new architectures will back the APIs and how games plan to use them. Honestly, everything we’ve heard about DX12 and AMD outperforming Nvidia comes from GPUs that still lack full support for real games. I’m really curious about 2016 and hope AMD can stand its ground against Nvidia, even though I admit I’m a big fan of the latter.

Nvidia usually shines in raw gaming performance, though it falls short in several areas, especially with GTX models. AMD chips don’t lead in gaming speed but offer stronger compatibility.

I don’t own a gaming setup, so I can’t confirm video card drivers or game compatibility. However, the operating system runs smoothly but certain Microsoft patches seem to mess with Windows 10—causing the taskbar to fail, endless reboot cycles, or apps to crash. That’s why I went back to Windows 8.

It covers everything. It’s completely free. (though I did have a license for version 7 on my laptop before upgrading)
