MSX performs noticeably quicker on my machine for tasks such as startup and more, so I’ll acknowledge the advantage.

Windows 10 uses less memory, storage, and processing power compared to older versions. It also offers better compatibility with newer software than Windows 7. I couldn't run Fallout 3 on Windows 7, but it runs smoothly on Windows 10.

Windows 10 starts significantly faster than version 7, regardless of whether 7 runs on an SSD or 10 uses a slower SATA 2 HDD.

It seems odd but your system performance has dropped after updating MSX. It might be related to how you always install your operating systems via EFI. The frame rate changes are mainly seen when using Windows, not other apps.

MSX clearly outperforms Windows 7 in performance. The main drawbacks are possible early issues and outdated drivers, plus some spyware, though these shouldn’t cause major problems with caution.

7 and keep it simple. Avoid Windows 10 unless you assembled your own system.

Upgraded to Windows 10 but faced many issues. Had to restart the system several times and eventually returned to Windows 8. It’s clear Microsoft needs to improve their operating systems.

Absolutely accurate. I faced numerous issues with drivers, memory leaks, and simply failing games along with broken apps.

I initially relied on the automatic updater, but I've been quite doubtful about it from the start. An operating system only truly shines when it's a fresh, clean installation, as I understood. Luckily, I managed to install micros tools in every game I played. Still, using one formatted SSD and performing a clean install with the ISO file later resolved everything for me. In my opinion, Windows 10 is clearly superior to Windows 7—it allows you to use a second monitor alongside the taskbar without needing third-party software. The "WINDOWS 10 IS SPYING ON YOU!!!1!1!1!" claims from the media have been misleading and incorrect, especially in Germany; they can be easily disabled. From a performance standpoint, Windows 10 is a bit better than Windows 7, but with DirectX 12 updates and upcoming GPU advancements, we'll see more clearly what new capabilities Windows 10 offers.
