Considering Windows 8.1 might be a better option. (I’m aware of its flaws, but I’m still curious.)

Your beliefs are accurate; it's only superior to others if you own a tablet, or just ignore version 8.1

Fallout 4 works on Windows 7, and Chrome also supports it. I’m not sure about the surfing protection or Windows defender, but since they’re both Windows, they seem to be at risk.

Think about steps you can take to keep your PC safe. Regular scans with tools like Malwarebytes are helpful, but combining them with good practices offers better protection.

MalwareBlaster works well, though you might want to add another antivirus for better protection. Since I mainly run on Linux, I’m not sure which AV suits Windows best. I’ve seen many threats through ads, so enabling an adblock could be useful too.
