Think about moving to Win 10 Pro. I've never faced any problems with it—every issue turned out to be a faulty driver, a conflict between versions, or outdated hardware.
I currently operate Linux on my desktop (i7, GTX 780) and on my laptop (XPS 13) without any problems. Both systems also include a Windows 10 partition that I rarely use. Linux functions perfectly as a full operating system, and I really like it compared to Windows. I’d suggest trying it out by installing it on a separate drive or partition. Once you adapt to how things work in Linux, switching back to Windows becomes difficult.
I favor Linux. Windows feels more like a product while Linux is a project. I've faced more driver problems with Windows than with Linux. I've never encountered malware, adware, or anything slowing down my PC. I don't need antivirus, rootkit protection, ransomware defenses, or any of that stuff.
I regret trying to set up a dual boot for the Ryzen/Vega version that would have been available when it was released.
