I'm feeling a bit uncertain right now. The b550 release date is getting closer, but I'm worried it might not come out. I was also thinking about getting the MSI tomahawk b550 board, but the price seems high at $179 USD. Now I'm weighing the X570 over or maybe just opting for the b450 tomahawk. Any suggestions on what to choose? Also, do you have any other motherboard ideas you'd recommend?

It really depends on the CPU model you're targeting. If it's below 3700x, go with the b550. For 3700x and above, consider the x570.

I don't have any additional specs beyond what you've shared. Let me know if you'd like to provide more details!

The B550 is adequate, but the B450 works just as well if you're looking to cut costs.

Hey, I am sort of stuck in the same boat here. Building a system with a ryzen 3600, 32gb 3200mhz ram and a 2070s. I am planning to OC my 3600, but nothing too crazy. My biggest doubts however come from limiting my future upgrades, and perhaps resale value. Should I wait for b550 or get a solid b450 or even a midrange x570? As a sidenote, I do want some decent IO. Thanks in advance
