Main use is Htpc Duties, I like the Asus has it has more sata connectors 6 compared to 4 on the msi but there is no guarentee i will ever use all of them. Thats the only real difference i can see myself. I will only be using an APU 3400G or maybe the newer version not decided yet. Also i seen the Msi for £70 if that makes any difference Thanks

The more affordable option. You don't really require anything advanced for an HTPC or typical scenarios.

When prices match, the B450M Mortar max comes out ahead. The B450M-A II looks pretty unappealing with its clunky heatsink.
