Windows 11 introduces several changes that may affect older systems, so consider whether your PC meets the updated requirements. Upgrading from Windows 10 to 11 often requires newer hardware specifications, which could be a reason to wait if you're unsure about compatibility.

This new PC features cutting-edge components. If it's brand new, those upgrades make it a solid choice.

Just set it up for version 11. If you're not and prefer sticking with the old Windows versions that resist updates, you're in a much better situation than most who don't have strong views beforehand. Windows 11 works well now, especially on current hardware.

I've been using Windows 11 for about six months now and my advice hasn't changed much. If you're on Windows 10, keep it there for now. For a new PC build, switching to Windows 11 is a solid choice—it performs well, though it still has some differences compared to Windows 10. Otherwise, it's just as good as Windows 10.
