Your choice on buying a PC game would be best if you consider what matters most to you, thank you!

I used to prefer purchasing physical media, but Steam Sales shifted my perspective! Plus, I don’t have room left.

I’d happily accept the steam DRM if it means the game fits into a popular social network, letting me easily save progress across devices and chat with friends online (such as joining the same server in Gmod, watching their mistakes in KSP, or inviting them to a lobby in CS:GO).

I favor playing physically since it means signing up on platforms like Steam/Origin/Uplay, giving me the choice to install from a disc or download straight away. However, some classic titles no longer have a physical release, which is why Steam/GoG become useful.

This option works well for users with limited internet speeds as well.

I appreciate the thought of having a physical version, but where should I store all the disks?

Have you ever set up Sims 2 with all expansions from a disk? I’d probably just download it overnight instead.

My computer is too noisy for that, haha. And I've never enjoyed playing Sims before...

I remember in the late Sims 2 period, someone had a whole shelving unit for Sims discs instead of just a single shelf.
