At 1440p the differences aren't huge. At 1080p the 9800X3D will perform noticeably better than the 7600X3D. You probably don't need to fear low FPS with either CPU at 1440p; your GPU is the main constraint here. I'd choose the 7800X3D instead of the 7600X3D for just a few extra dollars.
As mentioned earlier, everything will work well in 1440p. Look at reviews on YouTube. If I were you, I’d choose the 7800X3D since it’s more than $40 better than the 7600X3D, but the 9800X3D isn’t worth $100 more at that resolution. For added confidence, opt for the 9800X3D—its price jump of $100 over the full system doesn’t matter much. You decide how to justify it.
Top value is around 7800X3D, though 7600X3D seems too steep. You sacrifice two cores for just 40EUR less—it’ll work fine at 250EUR or less. 9800X3D is about 30% more expensive but could offer 15% better performance if it isn’t GPU-limited, which many games do at 1440p on a 7800X3D.
Hey guys thanks for the replies, but at the end I pulled the trigger on the 9800X3D since I got it for 430 euros and personal pickup 15min away from my apartment on friday so I wont have to wait like 10 days for the CPU to arrive. Thanks for the suggestions but I went with the 9800X3D since rn I have the 7800XT but I want this baby to last until my next GPU so I got the better one for more longevity and I think when I turn on FSR the difference will be much more noticable since it's on a lower rez image. Thanks
