By the way, I also make music. What style do you create? Do you rely heavily on virtual instruments or digital audio? If you use virtual ones, they can be memory-intensive, so having 32 GB is a plus.
In terms of performance, it depends on the plugins and how they're set up—many reverb plugins benefit from multiple cores and threads. Time-based effects and pitch shifting usually require more power, so a newer Zen 2 CPU might help.
I don’t use my AMD build in my studio; I have an Intel 7700k. Even with a 4-core, 8-thread system, it’s rarely overwhelmed by 100 tracks and many plugins. My 64 GB RAM is around 80% used, but if you're working on composition with lots of virtual tracks, things might feel different.
