It will consume a significant amount of power. Pair it with a 3080, an 850W unit works fine, but a 1000W could be excessive in this case.

It might be possible, but I believe it could run out of power soon. Pushing the PSU too much might shorten its lifespan.

PSU model: Seasonic SS-620GB Active Bronze GPU: AMD Radeon r9 270x (still a bit outdated, I understand). For the next steps, not certain yet. I don’t plan to play games; my main use is rendering videos. Maybe an Asus GeForce GTX 1050 TI OC 4GB 128b would suffice?
