Hello, after a fresh installation of Windows 11 using MediaCreationTool I encountered AMD driver issues while playing Warzone. I kept the same settings as before, after reinstalling Windows. I learned this might be linked to missing chipset drivers, so I checked the Gigabyte motherboard driver page. I’m unsure which drivers to choose from (dozens available), but which one is the most reliable for GPU driver problems. Gigabyte drivers for my setup: https://www.gigabyte.com/de/Motherboard/...er-chipset. I’m trying to figure out the best option and what manual drivers I should install after the Windows 11 upgrade.

I changed my BIOS to version F29 now (the latest for my setup). Initially I believed I had crashed because the system rebooted seven times without any display. Then I attempted to enable XMP Profile 1, but kept seeing a black screen. I stopped using XMP and updated all chipset drivers from the homepage. Do I also need to update audio drivers? Specifically, Realtek HD Audio Driver for DCH or Realtek HD Audio Driver? Should I install the SATA RAID Driver, such as Intel Rapid Storage Technology? The utility section appears to have nothing useful.

I've often considered manufacturers' drivers a bit complicated because they list every driver they've ever produced. You might try the gigabyte download hub since it automatically refreshes everything for you. Alternatively, combine using that with Intel's update assistant and Snappy driver origin (sdio), which identifies uninstalled drivers by PID and VID. At my workplace, I rely on sdio constantly after a full Windows reinstall on laptops, saving time since I don't have the chance to find drivers for various machines. I wouldn't use it for updating installed software unless a particular driver is problematic, then you can install a different version. However, Intel's update assistant may raise concerns about certain OEM graphics drivers and might remove some features. I haven't found a clear solution on how Gigabyte or Asus would customize such drivers, and they usually just suggest installing directly from Intel.

Are you required to revert your BIOS settings? XMP on F22 functioned properly, but now updates to F29 prevent Windows from booting.
