Choose the appropriate drivers for your AM5 B650E chipset.
Hi, your PC is running with the latest chipset driver available on Armoury Crate. However, the AMD setup tool still lists an outdated driver. You should update it via Armoury Crate to ensure compatibility and performance.
A larger value doesn't automatically indicate superiority; it may simply reflect newer drivers among certain users. This list gathers drivers for various chipset configurations, and some entries appear only when a particular chipset is identified. If the Asus driver is up-to-date, it might include additional support for features like integrated graphics or other components not required by your B650E chipset—AMD provides the latest version for that. Conversely, if the Asus driver is outdated, it could mean the site hasn't been updated or AMD only offers stable releases. Regardless, downloading the AMD version won't cost you anything and avoids unnecessary risks.
I refreshed the bios. That was the first thing I did, but my EXPO journey is another story. Sticks are backed by Asus, though not in a 2x16 GB setup. Just one stick of 16 GB—knowing it’s unusual but that’s how it works.
XPG Lancer - A-Data AX5U6000C3016G-DCLARBK DDR5 I recently reviewed the Asus site and noticed the 2x16GB support was included in the latest BIOS. Back then it was only marked in a specific spot. I believe updating the BIOS and testing with the full 6000 EXPO profile is the way to go.
The image still indicates 2x16GB compatibility. Checking the "socket support" part reveals details about how many DIMMs can be used simultaneously. I mentioned updating the BIOS because several ASUS models had issues with a sequence of BIOS revisions that disrupted the 6000 memory ratio, which is why I recommended a BIOS upgrade. The fix became effective only recently.
There were no disputes. None of the makers describe it clearly, but I think ASUS does the worst. I’m hoping the BIOS update will fix it—please let me know once it’s done. If not, there are other steps you can try to get it working.
