Hi guys I need your help! I am a very good FPS player who have played for the past 20 years PC games. I want to Stream but I cant and I built a very good PC that gives me 100fps at PUBG. But I have two issues. 1st. Ever since I changed my HDD my FPS when recording drops to 20 (this never happened). Worth mentioning that I did not do a clean install of the new HDD, I mean I formated but I had copied the steam games and other files in order to save downloading time. So Pubg and other games were copy/pasted and configured on steam to be loaded. Worth mentioning as well that the old HDD was F:/ and the new one is D:/ 2nd and mostly the most important issue. (upload speed is 2mb) This is the most sad part for me, as for where I live we dont get another internet provider that has more upload speed, making my streaming in very bad quality. so I have the following questions. - I have two internet at my house, both with 2mb upload, if I upload at 2mb the image can be good but I will be lagging terribly in game. so my question is, can I have two internet in the same computer and stream with one and play with the other? this video shows how bad it looks when I stream from my main pc/internet - If not here is the second question. Can I have a low end PC connected to the second internet and stream through that one? I know a lot of streamers do have a streaming and gaming machine, so my question is what hardware do I need in order to fully stream at 2mb from that PC. Thanks very much in advance!!
Preferably it shouldn’t be a budget build, since streaming high-quality content only required basic specs; weak hardware wouldn’t affect running it with top-tier games. Similar to how spending more yields better performance gaps, but it won’t be affordable if it’s not worth the investment.
You can link several Ethernet connections to one computer, and there should be a method to send them to different software. You'll need a hardware component to handle this. They offer various PCI-E networks cards, from high-end to budget-friendly USB options, which usually match the speeds you get when playing games—often well below half a megabit per second.
Streaming in high definition isn't possible with a 2mb file size—minimum 3.5mb required for smooth 720p playback.
You're likely running the software encoder, which is straining your CPU. Consider using shadow play or relive. Avoid streaming at 60fps; instead, stream at 30fps while maintaining sharpness. You have insufficient bandwidth to achieve 60fps without a clear image.
Identified the issue with my FPS drop; an 8GB RAM module failed initially. After replacing it, I achieved over 100 FPS in PUGBG while recording at 1080p and 60fps.
when capturing with shadow play or replaying, performance drops only slightly—around 1-5%. the main challenge is needing a very high bit rate to keep quality. personally, if I record, I go with 100mbps for relive and use a program like Hand Break to optimize the video with a software encoder. usually I can achieve high-quality videos at about 12mbps.
OBS supports 480p streaming directly. You don’t need to rescale; just set the resolution to 480 in the application settings.
Adjust the video settings by opening the video option and choosing your desired resolution and frame rate. Set the encoding bit rate around 1500 kbps and endcoer to either Nvidia NVENC or AMD VCE based on your graphics card. You may need to reduce the audio bitrate to improve video clarity. With a 2MB upload speed, achieving high quality is challenging; even with a 12MB upload, streaming results are limited. It might help to search online for combining methods to reach 4MB.
