I currently own a 'mpg z490 gaming edge wifi' connected to an 'intel i5 10400F' and a 'NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 super'. My GPU is functioning smoothly, but I suspect the CPU might be limiting performance. After some research, I haven’t made a clear decision yet. Right now, I’m considering the 'Intel i5 12600', though it’s out of stock everywhere. The 'MSI PRO B760-P WIFI DDR4 ATX' seems like a good fit since I need to upgrade my motherboard to match its socket size. I’m prepared to invest around £300 for the new parts, but I’m open to suggestions if it’s a bit more expensive. Thanks!

Consider an AMD Ryzen 7600 and a budget AM5 motherboard. I prefer AMD since LGA 1700 is no longer supported, so no future CPU options exist. What aspects matter most in a motherboard?

The price for swapping your CPU and board in the UK is quite high. Your existing components usually work well, but if you're looking to upgrade easily, the i7 10700KF is a good option. It might only require a new cooler as part of the change.

Primarily seeking devices with built-in Wi-Fi since I can't connect via Ethernet cable. The setup should accommodate my M.2 drive and possibly additional ports later, and I'm planning to use DDR4 RAM only.
