I’m using Macrium Reflect to manage and restore images for various operating systems on multiple computers. So far, I’ve made one image per computer model I’ve worked with. For instance, one image for an HP 14-bs077tx and another for an HP 14-am102tx. To generate an image for a different model, I’d typically install Windows on a clean drive first. When switching between devices like a ThinkPad and an OptiPlex, there are significant hardware differences. Should I just reuse the same image across models after removing hidden devices in Device Manager and installing drivers for the less common hardware, or is it better to keep creating separate images? I also faced challenges with a solid-state drive that worked fine during the day but failed quickly at night, though I’m not sure if it was due to usage patterns or the device itself.
