Well, either option is just as good. If you have files on your USB drive, move them to another place right before using it. If not, burn a DVD containing the operating system.

They both support ISO format. As mentioned earlier, both function well, so pick the one that feels more comfortable for you. USB is clearly the best option when an optical drive isn't available.

Retrieve the ISO file. This will assist later. Then proceed with Rufus to create a bootable USB drive. If installing on an UEFI-enabled system, let me know. I’ll share the steps.
