Hello, I'm considering whether to choose an Intel or Ryzen CPU build for my new PC. The components I have are an i7 9700f processor, a Gigabyte Aorus z390 Elite motherboard, and a Gigabyte X570 gaming board. Which option would be best?

It varies. If you're isolated and don't need constant background apps, go with Intel. If you're a typical user with many running programs, Ryzen's better performance will help with multitasking. For other tasks, Ryzen is definitely the choice.

The purpose is to understand the system requirements and components. The Z390 Elite seems excessive for a 9700f. If you're using Intel, consider 10th gen unless you find good deals on 9th gen. Intel excels in gaming with fewer quirks, while AMD shines in multithreaded tasks, usually lagging only slightly in games. Final performance varies based on your setup, resolution, and chosen titles.

It depends on what you have available. An Intel 10700K is great if you can set up Discord to run smoothly. It doesn’t diminish the worth of a Ryzen 3600, especially when considering the cost.
