Hello everyone, I'm using a Ryzen 7 3700X and an X570 master from Gigabyte. Recently, I've been considering switching to Intel for better system stability. I've noticed my games often run smoothly like a presentation, with normal FPS and CPU performance, but sometimes the CPU drops significantly—sometimes down to just 0.5GHz even when I restart. It seems to work occasionally. I'm thinking about upgrading to an i9 10850K and an MSI Z490 Tomahawk. The rest of my setup includes a Noctua NH-U12A, a G.Skill Neo 32GB kit at 3600MHz, an Evga GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition, a Gigabyte 2TB M.2 4GB SSD, an Evga G3 Supernova 1000W power supply.
Temperatures stay near 60°C on the CPU and 74°C on the GPU during gameplay. Peak temps don’t exceed 72°C when the system is under heavy use. All drivers and BIOS are current.
