Hello everyone, I’m looking for some advice. I need to connect my TV, PC, PS4, and other devices in the living room via LAN. Unfortunately, my router’s cable is in the bedroom, and the long hallway plus two rooms makes it impractical. The wireless connection isn’t reliable for TV or other devices either. I have two options: try DLAN, which I’ve struggled with before, or use a Wi-Fi receiver that includes an Ethernet port. Could anyone suggest a device that works well for both stability and speed? Thanks in advance!

For maximum performance and dependability, consider installing a cable directly from your router to the desired area. Whether you live in a rented property or own the place, running an external cable can provide a solid connection.

You can install Ethernet in a crawl space, basement, or attic by drilling a hole through the top or bottom of the wall, placing the device inside, and using a remodel box. Adding an Ethernet plate is straightforward.

These appear to be power line adapters, but their performance can vary widely. I’ll check Moca since it offers a more reliable standard. However, this depends on whether coax has been installed at each site. Moca may also introduce slightly higher latency, though it would provide a better overall connection.
