I haven’t seen any of the early games but I’m curious about joining a franchise. The trailers look alike, though EU4 seems to have more positive player feedback, making it harder to pick one. What are your thoughts on this?

EU4 emphasizes conflict and building an empire, whereas CK2 centers on character progression with mechanics akin to war. Each offers unique enjoyment, so the choice hinges on your preferred game style.

I enjoy these type of development games, so I'll choose EU4. Appreciate your feedback!

It seems EU4 might have a trial version available on Steam. Could be a good idea to check out before making a purchase.

You chose the better path probably. EU4 is much more straightforward than CK2. If you enjoy it, try CK2 next. Share your thoughts on that first experience where you struggled so much with every mechanic—it’s a classic memory!
