I first used Ubuntu after less than a year of dealing with computers. It’s surprisingly simple—sets up automatically, uses an intuitive GUI package manager (though a bit outdated), and offers various interfaces for different users. Maintenance is minimal.

I favor OpenSuse or Arch Linux. I've experimented with Zorin and Ubuntu using Gnome, though. (I didn't rely much on the package manager interface—I switched to a terminal and used aptget from there.)

Choose Windows 10 and switch to Linux for a dual boot, though regular use might feel tricky unless your requirements are unique.

I also enjoy arch, though it might be a bit overwhelming for someone just starting out.

OpenSUSE is awesome, but Arch isn't friendly for beginner in my opinion.
