I just completed a new PC setup for gaming and YouTube. I'm unsure if Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Gaming is better—should I choose one over the other? Here are the links:

I doubt Windows 10 Gaming exists as a real product; it seems to showcase its gaming features. Windows 10 Home works just fine, you don’t need the Pro version. Licenses can be obtained affordably on reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap.

It's exactly the same concept; there aren't any unique windows for gaming. This page outlines the gaming-related features found in Windows 10, not introducing a completely different operating system.

They placed it close to Windows 10 Home to mix things up. There are three versions: Win10 Home, Pro, and Education.

I believe there isn’t a ready-made product for Windows 10 gaming in the market. The link shared highlights features that enhance gaming experiences rather than offering a full game.

I acknowledge your point, though the site suggests it's a distinct version. It doesn't appear as a purchase option there—just the home/pro section.

Based on what I've learned, I'm not too sure Windows 10 gaming offers much more than Windows 10 Home, so I'd stick with the latter. -Coop

They probably meant a game mode. There isn't a Windows 10 gaming feature available.
