Hello, I'm starting my first PC build and need help choosing between the Ryzen 7 3700X and the 5GBPX. The 7 costs $280 at my local shop, which is $20 cheaper than the 5. I’m thinking of using a 3070 founder edition, a 750W power supply, and 16GB of DDR4 3600 memory. My main focus will be gaming and 3D modeling, plus some productivity tasks. I’d like to get the processor as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your advice!

My roommate owns the 2600, which works well for Blender renders. The 3700X isn’t terrible, but the 5600X shines more in single-threaded tasks. If you’re willing to spend $50, the 3700X offers better value overall.
