Hey everyone, I’m using an i5 4590 with an rx 580. My friend recently gave me a spare i7 3770. I’ve been looking into performance numbers and it looks like the 4590 is faster on single-core tasks, while the 3770 offers more threads. I’ve noticed my games—Monster Hunter, Watch Dogs 2, AC Odyssey, and Guild Wars 2—are running slower than expected. Would adding a CPU with four more threads help, or should I stick with the 4590? Thanks!

The requested feature isn't available. It wouldn't work well with the games you mentioned, and your board uses a different connector so it can't be used.

Is this accurate? I own an ASUS Z97-A and was expecting it to function properly. I assumed the socket design matched what I expected.
