Hey everyone, I'm planning to purchase an i5-13600K or i5-13600KF. The latter is clearly more affordable since it lacks the built-in graphics card. But there might be some challenges. I intend to use the MBD here: https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-st...odel/spec/ and this GPU: https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RTX-4070-Arch...b9385652d5 I’ll install a riser PCIe 4.0, connect via the MBD’s PCIe 5.0 port, and add an PCIe 4.0 RTX 4070 Ti. I might need to update my BIOS to support PCIe 4.0 in the MBD. Will using the i5-13600KF work for this setup?

No need to worry, the slot will use the AIC speed by default. If your GPU is Gen 4, it will automatically run at that level. You can choose between an iGPU or a full GPU, but it’s not essential here—just helpful for troubleshooting. I haven’t owned one in my main system for about seven years, so it’s definitely not required. However, for smaller builds like this, it could be a better option.

It looks like the i5-13600KF is currently quite affordable. This could be a great time to purchase it if you're looking for a good deal.

It's a reasonable cost, and I think I'd likely purchase it.

By the way, do you think RTX 4070 Ti and i5-13600KF will have bottleneck ?

Each configuration has an area where it slows down, which is a solid match.

Absolutely correct, performance varies depending on the specific tasks involved.
