You're likely considering a used PC but facing a budget challenge. There are two options at $100 each: one with 4 GB RAM and 500 GB HDD, and another with 250 GB RAM, a video card, and a 1155 motherboard. Which one suits your needs best?

These computers are suitable for browsing the web and reading emails. For gaming, there isn't enough detail and the information provided so far...it won't perform well.

It seems I'm fortunate since my only activities are watching movies and looking up information.

Alternatively, a RPi 4 might work better, though the app support seems poor.

I recommend avoiding these PC purchases. Instead, reach out to a nearby university (contact their IT office) and inquire about any unused or discontinued machines they might be willing to sell. This way, you can acquire better devices for less than $100.

Thanks for the details, I think I might save more but I'll likely spend it. Appreciate the assistance.
