I must choose between Rainbow Six Siege and Fallout 4. Which offers better value? Appreciate your thoughts. God bless.
They represent entirely different experiences. I’ve tried both and found RSS less appealing, while F4 offered more flexibility and customization thanks to its active modding scene. Keep in mind that official modding tools are still pending, which means improvements are on the horizon. On the flip side, RSS might suit you better if you enjoy collaborative play with friends, as it demands teamwork to succeed.
No one has shared genuine praise for RSS. Most people I saw talking about it either exaggerated their enthusiasm or completely dismissed it. It’s really different from other games—like choosing between buffalo wings and vegan lasagna, depending on what you like.
Fallout 4 feels much improved. Rainbow Six suffers from a flawed micro-transaction system; you're often forced to spend money just to progress, especially if you don’t own the 80$ edition. While you can earn in-game currency, it’s a slow process compared to free-to-play titles. Ubisoft claims that with most players spending eight to ten hours weekly, unlocking a new operator might take two to three weeks. They also mention operators available for 600 R6. That’s like playing Call of Duty for two weeks and only getting one weapon unlocked. Additionally, there’s terrible clipping that reveals your position if you’re too near walls with enemies on the other side. I’ve already received a refund from Steam for this game.
Purchase both on G2A! I've invested over 300 in games through the community market via trusted sellers and saved a lot. You can grab both now for around 90 dollars. EDIT: Fallout 4 would be the better option. Rainbow Six Siege has some minor problems, and I don't consider it the best in its category.
Play Fallout 4 or try CS:GO for a smarter choice. Save $45 and enjoy a better experience.
Fallout 4! What's up? MODS! Throw a baby and see it blow up like a bomb... Plus, it yells "John Cena" when you fire it. The best reasons ever!
The post seems to be about new operators arriving with the free DLC, priced at 25,000 Renown each. Starting operators cost 500 Renown per faction, and unlocking them unlocks the next in that faction for 1,000 Renown. It takes roughly a day to get two operators at 500 Renown each. Prices rise as you progress. You clearly didn’t play the game. It’s really fun and getting things is straightforward. Unlocking characters isn’t a long process—usually a few hours. You’re definitely mistaken. I enjoy both games too; I’ve spent about 80 hours on Fallout 4 and around 10 on R6S, both great. It depends on your preferred style.
I enjoyed watching those changes. Brother walked in while I was trying it (he owns Fortnite on PS4) and shouted, "What are you doing with Shaun!?!?!?" Then he caught the John Cena clip and said, "You gotta be messing with me."
