Current setup: ROG Strix B450F MB | Ryzen 7 2700x | GTX 1070ti | G.Skill 32GB (4x 8GB) @3000MHz RAM. Used for gaming and light video editing. I noticed my 3000MHz RAM only hits 2400MHz. It seems I missed the compatibility guidelines—my RAM works best in a dual-channel setup. I’m not keen on spending more, so I’m considering sticking with it or downsizing to two sticks. For my needs, should I go with 32GB at 2400MHz or 16GB at 3000MHz? Also, the machine performs well and I haven’t had any issues yet. Thanks for your advice!

You won't see the speed variation. Spare your money and enjoy 32GB.
