Yea you can do that, but the ngfw boxes do it already, so I don't see a reason to do it your self here.

Yes... but the NGFW might become overwhelmed. Segmenting tasks between router operations and gateway servers is a smart approach. Also, it offers benefits for your smart home security and mobile app backend filtering.

You're seeing minimal traffic, around 90 megabits per second, correct? That's not unusual, as a standard setup can support gigabit speeds with most features enabled.
