ARK isn't very well optimized, but I don't mind since I enjoy playing. My setup works just fine, though my rig has trouble with low performance. It gets frustrated when it's attacked by a dinosaur while searching for food, but that's typical in survival games.

It's been testing on a 650 Ti boost system, but I upgraded to a 960 and installed it quickly—hope that improves things. How many frames are you seeing now?

Did you include -sm4 in your Steam Launch settings? You're seeing 50 FPS on an HD 7990 with an i5 4670K at 4.3, using 8GB of HyperX 1866 RAM.
