I've tried both. I'd recommend [go] for the one you prefer more. PvE (Wildlands) or PvP (For Honor).

Yeah, For Honor sounds intriguing with its varied combat styles. Wildlands feels like another Tom Clancy tactical shooter, and Rainbow Six Siege is already there. A downside for For Honor is the misspelling—it should be For Honour. As someone from the UK, it’s a bit confusing to see it written that way.

Wildlands looks promising. It reminded me of Ghost Recon Online, which is why I’m hooked. The built-in squad feature works well after the 3x quick sync improvements. Upgrading them can be tricky, so I might start with For Honor instead.
