It appears most people enjoy Far Cry 3 while disliking GTA4; I’ll follow your advice and purchase FC, thanks to everyone.

GTA 4 isn't a terrible title. The narrative falls short compared to Far Cry 4, and the visuals aren't top-notch—unless you install a mod. Then the main concern becomes whether your system can run it smoothly.

Far Cry 3 and GTA 4 might start to feel outdated, and it’s best not to exhaust yourself chasing the next big GTA title arriving in January.

GTA 4 was enjoyable with some modifications, otherwise a decent base story, solid DLC content, and impressive system demands.

Farcry 3 offered an amazing experience with a solid PC compatibility. I’d suggest picking it up because I haven’t heard much positive about SR4. Plus, it seems GTA4’s PC version is quite poor.

You recently purchased Far Cry 3 and are pleased with your setup. Your system maintains smooth performance at 50 frames per second under medium settings, and even at the lowest settings, it stays around 50 fps. It seems your CPU might be handling the load well.

Far Cry 3 is truly one of the top games I've ever enjoyed. I definitely give it the top vote.

GTA IV isn't terrible, though FarCry 3 has a nice look

This game would come first on my list, followed by GTA IV.
