Just cause 3, according to what I understand about the game’s technical side, looks strong... Fallout 4... Since it’s a Bethesda title, it should run smoothly on older systems...

They are quite distinct experiences. Considering a switch might be worthwhile. The Steam Winter Sale is coming up in about a week, and you could likely snag both titles for around $15 together. It’s hard to say for sure, but there’s a chance Fallout 4 or Just Cause 3 might also drop during that time.

I’m already tired of Fallout, probably because the RPG elements have been softened. It’s unclear what to recommend—just a 3 might work if you’re after something more action-focused, or you could try Witcher 3 or Fallout 4 for a deeper experience.

I've tried both games extensively. They're quite alike in terms of gameplay, and you won't regret choosing either. Unfortunately, neither offers a compelling narrative experience. Witcher 3 significantly surpasses both in storytelling.

And even though there are several paths, it feels a bit similar to Mass Effect 3's conclusion where three of the four endings overlap. The "special" ending, also known as the fifth, is basically one of the three available options from the other four, except you're not in conflict with the other two groups. So... honestly, I wasn't particularly upset about Mass Effect 3's ending before it was fixed, since I enjoyed the overall experience, but with Fallout 4... I'm not sure if I'll ever label it a great game. It was decent, but I wouldn't call it exceptional.

In Just Cause, sex isn't possible unless you're playing the game. If it works in-game, I'll reconsider.

I haven't played Fallout 4 but it doesn't interest me very much where as I have played Just Cause 3 and it's amazing, It's probably the most fun I've had in a game in a long time. It's so over the top its brilliant.

My emotions about JC were captured perfectly in the Fallout TB summary. There are many "missions" that seem similar, and while the game offers plenty of tools for fun activities, they often feel tedious to complete. Trying to make them work is frustrating, so most people end up using the simplest, least exciting options instead.
