Choose between Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome.
I was planning to choose an Xbox One exclusive for PC but am now weighing Dead Rising 3 versus Ryse: Son of Rome. Appreciate the help! Thanks ahead.
I would choose Dead Rising 3 without hesitation if forced to decide.
Dead Rising 3 was quite enjoyable, but Ryse was a significant financial loss and wasted time.
Neither seems appealing to me. DR3 feels like just chasing and taking down zombies—fine if you enjoy that kind of game. Ryse is decent, but a lot of the same repetitive action and similar mini-stories make it uninteresting.
Dead Rising 3 received average ratings. It launched on PC with a 30 FPS cap, though a workaround seems to function properly. Ryse: Son of Rome functions as a basic screenshot tool. For that style, consider Shadow of Mordor or other Batman titles.
Dead Rising 3 since Ryse isn't great and feels like a console rejection, haha.
