Your controller choice depends on the game genre. For RPGs and FPS games, you mainly rely on keyboard and mouse.

You'll play solo using an online keyboard and mouse for aiming, while a controller handles movement—switching between them anytime is great!

It works the same for any GTA game key or mouse for FPS, controller for driving, giving you the best of both options. GTA has often struggled with aiming in third-person view.

Another point—how do you manage your mouse preferences? There seems to be some unusual movement or lag, and I’m trying to figure it out. Anyone else having the same issue or understanding what I’m describing?

Started using the Xbox 360 controller initially, but later switched to a keyboard/mouse setup. It feels much more fluid and intuitive compared to a controller. My mouse settings are set high, allowing me to quickly adjust my camera angle while driving at high speeds—just enough wrist movement to snap shots at officers without fully turning around. It's really enjoyable!
