Yes, another GTA5 thread... One of hundreds more to come over the next week or two, I'm sure. Question; how are you playing GTA 5? With a 360-like controller or with KB & mouse? Reason I'm asking is because when I first started playing last night, I was using my KB & mouse (because fps mode), but after adjusting the settings for quite some time, I just couldn't get it to work/feel right. I have mouse input set to "raw" yet there still some acceleration/delay going on that's driving me nuts. I'm an experienced FPS player (used to play in tournaments a few years back) so I know the way I like it and the way it should feel. But it's not very smooth (to me) and like I said, the minor acceleration is super-annoying. Also, I cannot drive with the keyboard. It's just... horrible. I'm used to using a wheel or controller and because there's a lot of driving in this game, I've resorted to using my 360 controller instead. Aside from the FPS parts (which I can semi get used to) it's a FAR better experience using the controller IMO. Can now driver cars with MUCH higher degree of control. I've kept auto-aim turned OFF of course. Otherwise it's just too easy. What do you guys think? How are you controlling GTA5 and why?

I'll rely on my DS4 controller if it's feasible

You still have 20 gig files available, but I can't alternate between them. Just keep the controller on hand and grab it whenever you need it for the driving sections.

It’s often feasible to search for an input mapper that acts like XInput from a DS4. In short, it transforms your DS4 to behave like an XB360 controller on a PC.

Check if a 360 controller works or if a PS4 controller is better if it functions

I'll work with both keyboard and 360 controller inputs.

It changes fast, I can use my keyboard and controller together while I'm doing it.

I strongly dislike keyboards and mice, especially when it comes to driving or third-person perspectives. I’ve switched to an Xbone controller, which has worked perfectly for me.
